“Mirror Gem" storyboard art:
Here are some drawings I did early on in the storyboarding process for one of the recent episodes of Steven Universe, “Mirror Gem”. Sometimes sketching things out like this first helps me figure out the mood, along with significant bits of acting I’d like to work toward.
gentle reminder to not fuck with an ouija board because if you happen to invoke the cyberdemon you better know how to circle strafe in real life Fucker

DO YOU WISH TO ENGAGE IN FISH-FEEDING?
i’ve seen some posts making this guilt trip of how the people who like to dress up as a sugar skull or the Catrina for halloween or whatever is racist and cultural appropriation.
Nah, it’s completely fine, as long as you are not totally ignorant about it or disrespectful, we Mexicans also celebrate Halloween, we break the piñata (which origin is chinese) And celebrate thanksgiving.
So it’s kinda hypocrate to say it’s cultural appropriation (which is not either way) cultures are beautiful and should/could be shared, there are indeed some aspects that can be racist and or appropriating, however dressing up as a sugar skull on Halloween is not in any way offensive.
It’s not like the sugar skull represents us, represents the deceased, and actually it’s just a joyful way to represent them. And the Catrina is just a social critic which became an icon for the day of the dead and Mexico.
So fellow Mexicans, be open minded, don’t even hate, and share this rich culture we have with the rest of humanity, chill.
Cultural appropiation is a weird subject for me because my country is the result of a mix of cultures. Cultural appropiation can create new cultures and that’s wonderful.

utism is a poorly-understood neurological disorder that can impair an individual’s ability to engage in various social interactions. But little 5-year-old Iris Grace in the UK is an excellent example of the unexpected gifts that autism can also grant – her exceptional focus and attention to detail have helped her create incredibly beautiful paintings that many of her fans (and buyers) have likened to Monet’s works.
Little Iris is slowly learning to speak, whereas most children have already begun to speak at least a few words by age 2. Along with speech therapy, her parents gradually introduced her to painting, which is when they discovered her amazing talent.
“We have been encouraging Iris to paint to help with speech therapy, joint attention and turn taking,” her mother, Arabella Carter-Johnson, explains on her website. “Then we realised that she is actually really talented and has an incredible concentration span of around 2 hours each time she paints. Her autism has created a style of painting which I have never seen in a child of her age, she has an understanding of colours and how they interact with each other.”
Many of us understand sex and gender as categorically separate when envisioning trans women. How do we enforce transmisogyny through biological essentialist views of what we define as “sex” when imagining trans women? This storify examines how we enforce physical & ontological gender violence through non-consensual cisnormative separations of sex and gender. Sex is very much a gendered concept with its own colonial and violent baggage.
Note: This is a partial storify. Read the full version here
She went off and ya will deal and learn.
(slightly spoilery) remember that line at the end of Adolescence Mokushiroku where Saionji is like “I’ll find my way out too and be there to seduce you again, Anthy!” Well.

She is so fucking done with this interview…
If you have to protest that you’re a nice guy, then you probably aren’t.
If ‘Nice Guys’ actually went around actually BEING nice…instead of only pretending to in the hopes that a woman might fuck them…then they wouldn’t need to keep telling people that they’re ‘nice guys’ people would know they were without it needing to be said
